Associate of Biblical Studies (A.B.S.)

Planned Future Program

The Associate of Biblical Studies provides a foundational course of training in Scripture, doctrine, and practical

ministry. It is designed for students beginning formal Bible training and for church members seeking a structured pathway for growth and service. The program emphasizes biblical understanding, personal spiritual maturity, and faithful involvement in the life and work of a local Independent Baptist church.

At the moment, an Associate’s Degree in Bible requires the student to either enroll in Faith Bible Institute under Elmwood Baptist Church or have an equivalent degree from a Bible college or institute.

Upon completion of Faith Bible Institute’s 3-year program, the student will have completed the 36 credit hour requirements for an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies
